From August 27th - August 29th, Las Vegas was buzzing with over 18,000 Cisco employees and partners alike. The event which was previously known as GSX was renamed IMPACT this year. Cisco wanted to focus on the IMPACT that their partners make within their personal business goals and how that may benefit their field sales teams.
IGNW was lucky enough to be one of these impactful partners to get invited into the event. Not only did we get to attend but a few different IGNW employees had the opportunity to present at various break out sessions.
This was a chance for IGNW to really show Cisco what we can bring to the table in terms of assisting their sales teams in making their goals. We have been a DSI partner for Cisco for a few years now so we feel pretty confident in our ability to make a difference in their sales process. Now is our chance to prove it.
One of the presenters, Tige Phillips described IGNW’s participation as, “help[ing] foster the use of devops methodology and how Cisco teams can sell more with devops and Cisco DevNet.” Since Impact was all about how partners and Cisco sales teams ability help each other out, we were thrilled to explain what IGNW can do to support the Cisco teams.
Impact was a time to celebrate Cisco’s wins, learn new skills and tools, and discuss any products that their customers may be reluctant to adopt. IGNW was grateful to be able to share this experience with the Cisco family and can’t wait to see the IMPACT we can make together in the coming year!
